I chose Hannah and the Whistling Teakettle create verbally by Mindy Warshaw Skolsky and illustrated by Diane Palmisciano and Jennifer and Josephine which is illustrated and written by Bill Peet for my reading to a unfledgedster essay. The picking of books was easy for me. My 13 year old fille enjoyed these books when she was little. I thought that the choice of books would be the difficult part. However, finding a subject to read to proved much harder than I realized. I was able to finally find a niece of my oldest missys friends. Ashley Labonte is a six year old kindergarten bookman at the Old Mill Pond Elementary schooldays in Palmer. Hannah is a story about a young female child who travels to the city to visit her grandpargonnts. Hannah must film a grant to bring to her gran. The grandmother only the likes gifts that ar necessary. By the cover of the story you can guess that Hannah picks a whistling teakettle. The grandparents reckoning an ice slash shop. The te akettle helps to interrupt an assay robbery. Suspense is created with the physical exercise of pictures. As the story moves along with out specialally stating that on that point is one robber prison-breaking into the phone stalling, you can listen it in the mirror that is draw above the ice cream counter, while the second raider was trying to keep the grandmother busy.

Also the story its ego lends to suspense and excitement. The author uses vitrine type and size to create and conduct your attention to specific points in the story, While this story was socialize for Ashley it is extremely tedious explai ning things that were not critical to the st! ory. In increment to that I did feature to explain what a phone booth was and what a malted milk was. Ashleys attention would wander, I had to ramp up my articulation and excitement to keep her interested. The illustrations in Hannah are bright and skillful of motion and movement. The perspective was tire as all the photos are from straight on like you are standing along the central characters.
